Requirements for Affiliate Certification

Affiliate Certification requires a thorough review of all web sites to ensure compliance with standards set forth by IPB.

Certification guidelines:

  • Must be responsible for providing correct information on the websites.
  • Can not make false claims about prescription medicine.
  • Do you provide a toll-free number for patients to OPs?
  • No Spam
  • Clearly identifying the person(s) responsible for the website carrying the certification.
  • Can not advertise or market controlled medications.

    The following fee schedule covers review of sites to ensure compliance:

    • 1 Site $39.99 per site (renewable annually at half price)
    • 2 - 5 Sites $34.99 per site (renewable annually at half price)
    • 6 - 10 Sites $29.99 per site (renewable annually at half price)
    • 11 - 20 Sites $24.99 per site (renewable annually at half price)
    • 21 - 50 Sites $19.99 per site (renewable annually at half price)
    • 51 - 100 Sites $14.99 per site (renewable annually at half price)
    • > 100 Sites $11.99 per site (renewable annually at half price)

    Any entity seeking to join the Internet Pharmacy Board ("IPB") must complete the following application form which will be reviewed by the board members for approval. Each entity must provide clear/acceptable answers to the questions on the application form. In addition the Privacy sStatement must be signed by all members of the IPB. All information disclosed on the application is used for certification/acceptance purposes only and will not be disclosed to third parties.
