IPB Certification
IPB Certification is granted to those pharmacies and affiliates that have given their commitment that they will endeavor to ensure patient safety by agreeing to comply with the Internet Pharmacy Board's Code of Ethics and the state and federal laws and regulations regarding telemedicine.
Certified Members may display the IPB Seal of Approval on a Website that has undergone a complete and rigorous Certification Process.

Any entity seeking to join the Internet Pharmacy Board ("IPB") must complete the following application form which will be reviewed by the board members for approval. Each entity must provide clear/acceptable answers to the questions on the application form. In addition the Privacy sStatement must be signed by all members of the IPB. All information disclosed on the application is used for certification/acceptance purposes only and will not be disclosed to third parties.

IPB Membership vs. IPB Certification.
MEMBERSHIP:
Membership in IPB is an agreement by the membership to abide by the Rules of the association, allowing them to state that they are members. Membership dues are assessed and are renewed annualy.
CERTIFICATION:
IPB Certification is where individual operations/web sites have been reviewed and approved, allowing a Certification SEAL to be displayed on a website. Certification fees are based on the number of webs sites. Membership is a mandatory requirement for certification.
