About IPB

The Internet Pharmacy Board ("IPB") was recently created by leading internet pharmacy providers in an attempt to coordinate the industry's efforts both in understanding the currently legal and regulatory framework surrounding our industry and to work cooperatively with state and federal regulators on legislative change. The IPB is open to all qualifying members and will serve as a repository for legal information and a unified voice for compliance and change. Our initial efforts revolve around grappling the unique and distinctive laws currently in effect on both state and federal levels and assisting our members in their compliance efforts. Contemporaneously, the IPB is in the process of developing a "best practices" guidelines for its members and is heavily involved in current legislative efforts to protect the industry's ongoing viability.
